Nadiadwala Grandsons denies media rumours that ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Asim Riaz has been cast in Salman Khan’s ‘Kick 2’

There have been media reports since yesterday about Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz being roped in Salman Khan’s ‘Kick 2’. Fans of the actor were overjoyed, and it quickly became a trending topic on Twitter and other social media.

However, a day later, ‘Nadiadwala Grandsons’ the producers of Kick (2014) and its impending sequel ‘Kick 2’  took to social media to break their quiet and put an end to media speculations, indicating that this is false news and that they are still working on the film’s script.

Calling it fake news, Nadiadwala Grandson’s official Twitter handle wrote, “We are working on our script for #Kick2 and this news is NOT TRUE! We request all the media houses to please clarify the news with us before printing.

The  Free Press Journal broke news yesterday that Asim Riaz has been cast opposite Salman Khan in ‘Kick 2’ and the makers are planning to release the film in 2024.

‘Kick’ was directed by and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his own production house Nadiadwala Grandson’. The film starred Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. The action thriller was a huge blockbuster at the box office.

The sequel to the film was announced a few years ago, but no specifics about the cast or release date have been revealed until now.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is overjoyed with the success of his latest film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was released on Eid. The action-entertainer, directed by Farhad Samji, has already grossed Rs. 84 crores nett in just five days. Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, and Palak Tiwari also star in the film, which is also produced by Salman Khan.
