Saira Banu, a veteran actress, was brought to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on August 24 due to breathlessness, high blood pressure, and excessive sugar. Dilip Kumar’s wife has been diagnosed with depression and coronary syndrome, according to reports. As a result, Hinduja Hospital’s experts have recommended an angiogram. Saira, however, has refused angiography, according to a recent report in PTI. Doctors recommended an angiography treatment to determine the reason of Saira Banu’s heart issue, according to the article.
However, a hospital doctor confirmed to PTI that the actress has declined permission.
A doctor from Hinduja Hospital was quoted as saying, “Yesterday, her cardiac tests happened, and she has been diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome.’Once she gives her consent, doctors can perform an angiography.”
Saira Banu’s doctor also said that she is suffering from depression after her spouse Dilip Kumar’s death.
Saira Banu may be discharged from the ICU and moved to a room soon, according to them. It was reported yesterday that the actress’s family has yet to make a choice on angiography. TOI quoted a source close to the family saying, “We are not in a hurry to go in for the angiography. We will decide in 4 or 5 days.”
In an interview, Faisal Farooqui, Saira Banu and late Dilip Kumar’s family friend said, has said, “She is a woman who has lived every moment in the last 55 years with him. You and I can only feel this pain. But there has been a vacuum in her life. It may be that his sorrow and the stress is bothering her.”
