Actor Saif Ali Khan, popularly known as Nawab of Pataudi, still has the magic of working on the digital platform. He is obviously overwhelmed by the success he has received from Netflix’s web series ‘Sacred Games’. He says that digital medium of entertainment gives more satisfaction than movies in terms of creativity.
He says, ‘If you are an artist, you would like to have the opportunity to show more and more talent in any project. And OTT gives that chance. ‘ According to Saif Ali Khan, the time spent for a long time in the web series is the only way to bring out the talent of any artist.
He says, ‘More than movies, an artist gets an opportunity to show his talent on OTT. This is a big deal. If you watch shows like ‘Sacred Games’ and ‘Patal Lok’, you will see real Mumbai and India in them. Cannot be shown in a film like that. It is very good and I like it very much as well. If I look at my decision to work on the web today, I find that decision very right. ‘
Saif Ali Khan’s film career has been shaky for the last few years. If his filmography is taken up, none of his films have pleased both critics and audiences till 2019 after the 2013 film ‘Bullet Raja’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. In early 2020, Saif Ali Khan was seen in the production of Ajay Devgan in his film ‘Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior’ as Uday Bhan Singh Rathore. He was well appreciated in the film.
Now Saif Ali Khan will be seen as a supporting cast in the romantic drama ‘Dil Bechara’, directed by Mukesh Chhabra. Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi will play lead roles in this film. Apart from this, Saif will also be seen in Aditya Chopra’s production ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ along with Rani Mukherjee, Akshay Kumar, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari. There is also a project of Amazon Prime Video ‘Delhi’ in Saif Ali Khan’s account which has been created by Ali Abbas Zafar.
