Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan starrer Hindi remake of the 2017 blockbuster Vikram Vedha will go on the floors soon. As soon as it was reported in the news that the two actors will be sharing screen space for the film, fans got very excited, however, everyone was waiting for the official announcement. Now according to the reports, the two superstars will kick off the film in October.
The original film stars Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan.
As per the reports, Saif and Hrithik will head to Serbia with the director duo Pushkar-Gayathri in October to shoot for major portions of the film. Hrithik and Saif may head to Georgia after that for a shooting stint before returning to India. The two will shoot dramatic scenes before wrapping up the film.
A source told Mid-Day, “Hrithik, Saif and the crew will head to Serbia to shoot a major chunk of the film, followed by a stint in Georgia. They intend to wrap up the action sequences in the foreign locales before they return to home turf to can the dramatic scenes.”
Meanwhile, Hrithik is also busy with another actioner titled Fighter. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead and it is helmed by Siddharth Anand. The film’s release date was recently pushed from September 2022 to January 2023.
Saif on the other hand has several projects in the pipeline including Adipurush with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as well as Bhoot Police with Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez. Well, Bhoot Police is set to release on Disney+Hotstar on September 17, 2021.
