Urvashi Rautela mercilessly TROLLED for her short hair as she cuts them to support Iran’s Anti Hijab movement
Urvashi Rautela is always in news these days due to her social media posts which indirectly point at cricket Rishabh Pant. She received frequent trolling from internet users for their connection. We saw her comparing herself with Mahsa Amini while she hit back at her trollers. She also shared a picture of her hair stating her support for the protest happening in Iran & for Ankita Bhandari’s demise.
In a post she shared on her Instagram, the actress was sitting in a blue dress to get a haircut done. While sharing a brief note in her IG post, she highlighted that it’s for the support of Mahsa Amini, who passed away in Iran during the morality police’s arrest.
Urvashi Rautela also extended her support for Ankita Bhandari, a 19-year-old girl who was killed in Uttarakhand. The Sanam Re actress further added, “ CHOPPED MY HAIR OFF! Women across the globe are teaming up the protest against the Iranian government by cutting their hair. We should respect women; A global symbol for the women’s revolution. Women are cutting their hair to show that they aren’t bothered about society’s beauty standards and won’t allow anybody to decide how they dress up, behave, or live. Once women unite and consider one women’s issue as an entire womankind’s problem, feminism will get a new life.”
As soon as she shared the post, it caught netizens’ attention and they mercilessly trolled her. A user wrote, “India Ki Women Ke Liye Hi Pehle Kuch Kar Le Iran Ka Khud Ka Masla Hai Woh.” Another user commented, “Attention seek krne ki haad hoti hai yrrr??? i mean stardom aur limelight me rehne ke liye kis haad taak girenge yeh log?? #iitian_urvashi ???”
One troll said that Rishabh Pant would feel she is doing black magic on him, while some asked her to look after herself first, then go to Iran.
To those who are unaware, Iran police arrested a 22-year-old girl Mahisa Amin for not covering her hair properly with hijab. Her death during the arrest gave rise to anti-hijab protests. Talking about the Indian incident, 19-year-old girl Ankita Bhandari, who was working as a receptionist at the resort in Uttarakhand, was reportedly murdered by the BJP ex-leader’s son.
