Rohit Bakshi is an Indian TV actor who hails from Delhi. He was born and brought up in the National capital. He was born on 4th October 1978. He did his schooling and college from Delhi and during his college days, he got hooked to modeling and acting to some extent. So, when he completed his college, he headed to Mumbai to make a career in modeling. During his struggling days, he got chance to walk on a number of ramps and do modeling assignments, however, for this shy man the acting can be called as an accidental.

He was offered a cameo role in the TV show called Titaliyan, which was the beginning of the acting in small screen. However, his first big role came in the form of Choodiyan wherein he played the main lead in it. He played the character of the son in law in the said movie, which was in the year 2002. Since then it was no looking back for him as he did a number of TV shows particularly of Ekta Kapoor. Some of the TV shows he did in his early times include Kutumb,  Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Sindoor to a name a few.

Some of his recent TV shows include SuperCops vs Supervillains, Savdhaan India, Maharakshak: Devi,  Siya Ke Ram, Darr Sabko Lagta Hai (episode twenty seven), Bharatvarsh (Episode 2) as Chandragupta Maurya and  Mahakali– Anth hi Aarambh hai as Kamadeva & His alter ego Bhandasura. Talking about his venture in Bollywood, he did one movie called Dehradun Dairy wherein he played the character called Anshul Sharma. Now talking about his personal life, he has been linked to Akansha Goradia and after dating 10 years, the couple broke up in 2016. Now he is single and dating no one.
