Rishi Kapoor Last Journey: The Late Actor was Cremated at Chaandanwadi Crematorium
As the veteran star – Rishi Kapoor left this world, it did wreck all havoc the people in the B Town and his fans. The Tinsel Town was not out from the grief of Irrfan Khan’s death and it received the second blow with Rishi Kapoor’s death. As decided, the last rites of the actor were carried out at Chandanwadi crematorium in Mumbai in the afternoon in the presence of his family and close friends.Â
With the lockdown still continuing, the actor was earlier hospitalised at HM Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday late night and later in the morning, he left this world at the age of 67. Some of his family members who were present at this occasion include Son Ranbir Kapoor, wife Neetu Kapoor, brother Randhir Kapoor and niece Kareena with her hubby Saif Ali Khan. Also, his nephews Armaan and Aadar Jain along with Alia Bhatt were present.
Few of his close friends like Big B’s son Abhishek Bachchan, industrialist Anil Ambani and director Ayan Mukerji also attended the funeral. While the late actor’s daughter Riddhima who is based in Delhi was allowed a road pass to drive to Mumbai 1400 kms to reach the destination, however, the funeral proceeded without the lady. She will take 18 hours to reach to Mumbai. Rishi Kapoor has been the most respected actor in B Town and he has given many films. Catch some pictures of his final journey towards the funeral.
