Review

The film revolves around the story of a former convicted man called Bholaa played by Ajay Devgn and it happens to be the remake of the south Indian film – Kaithi (a Tamil Movie). He has lived a gangster’s life, which led to his wife’s death that brought him into jail. However, after the conviction, he comes up to help the IPS officer by letting the goons go behind the bar, however, the suspicion leads him again to jail, so what happens next is interesting to explore.

As we compare the action with the original Tamil film, there isn’t much difference, the film looks more massy and messy in the Hindi version and Ajay Devgn helmed film. Now, talking about the performance, Ajay in his silent and lead role has been incredible and he is able to win with his strong action and cool. He has mastered his skills to perform the best on the silver screen.

Similarly, it is a treat to watch the other actors in the lead roles including Tabu seen in her own swag specially in some of the  brilliantly choreographed action sequences amid the dust. The quirky role of Deepak Dobriyal as Ashwathama is also mind blowing. Similar is the story with others like Vineet Kumar as Nithari and Piyush Mishra playing his character too have complimented with their presence in the film.

As far as the direction of the film is concerned, Ajay has helped the film to get a good lift with his incredible filmmaking skills. He seemed far better when compared to his earlier films. Thanks to the good script, which made him tread safe with it. The music from Ravi Basrur was exceptional in his work as seen in his previous films particularly the KGF.

Bholaa Movie Review –  The Last Word

The Ajay Devgn helmed film Bholaa is noteworthy massey and messy film, which is unavoidable for any of his fans. It can be a decent watch!
