Richa Chadha has begun filming her first international project, Aaina, in London. Aaina is an Indo-British project in which Richa plays the lead opposite William Moseley, who is well-known for his role in The Chronicles of Narnia. The film will be a drama based on real-life events. “I had read a few scripts for international projects, but nothing was quite right,” Richa said in a statement. “When Aaina came my way, I knew this was the one, and now that it’s finally happening, I’m incredibly excited. The film has a very interesting plot.”
“I manifested a strong script for my international debut, and Aaina was perfect for that,” she continued. Aaina is directed by Markus Meedt, and it is being produced by Geeta Bhalla and PJ Singh of Big Cat Films UK. The film is scheduled to be released in 2023.
Richa Chadha has said that she felt like a “fresher” while filming her first international project, Aaina, in the UK. The film has a very different working culture than the Indian film industry, and Richa had to adjust to the new way of working. “The film was completely shot in the UK, and they have a very different working culture than ours,” Richa said in a statement. “So, even with a good number of years of experience in the Indian movie industry, I felt like a fresher.”
Aaina is directed by Markus Meedt, who is making his feature film debut with the project. The film is a drama based on real-life events, and it stars Richa opposite William Moseley, who is well-known for his role in The Chronicles of Narnia. Richa will also be seen in Fukrey 3, which will be released on December 1, 2023. She is also producing her debut film, Girls Will Be Girls, which is currently in development.
