Renowned actress Richa Chadha recently utilized her social media platform to vent her frustrations regarding her travel encounters with booking platform MakeMyTrip and airline Air India. In a tweet, Chadha recounted the issues she encountered during her recent trips, expressing her dissatisfaction with both companies for what she perceived as subpar service and a lack of accountability. She boldly referred to them as “Saste cheats,” implying her disappointment with their practices.
Actress Richa Chadha, known for her stellar performance in Masaan, alleged that her flight was unexpectedly cancelled without any prior notification. Expressing her dissatisfaction, Chadha specifically called out the “Thakela customer service at MakeMyTrip,” highlighting the lack of refund options available to customers. In a final statement, she advised others to steer clear of these two entities, referring to them as “SCAMSTERS,” and expressed her hope that their companies would face even greater losses than they have experienced throughout their collective histories.

In response to Richa Chadha’s grievances, MakeMyTrip’s official account on X acknowledged the issue and stated, “As discussed, we are actively addressing your concern and will provide you with an update via direct message and phone call by this evening.”

One user with the handle X expressed, “We had a similar unfortunate experience with their services and products.” Another user added, “I also faced a situation where they charged an extra 8500 bucks for a date change that never happened. It’s been about 9 months, and I haven’t received a refund.”
