This is an utter shock what is happening on in our Bollywood. Our own very own choreographer turned director suffered a heart attack Friday afternoon and now admitted in Kokilaben Hospital in ICU. Till now there was no news of his ill health. He was all fit and fine. The news was confirmed by the director Ahmed Khan while talking to a news channel.
His wife Lizelle D’Souza told in an interview that, “It was a blockage. Doctors have done angiography. He is in the ICU. Please pray. Next 24 hours are very important.” Our prayers are surely with him.
He is a National Award-winning choreographer had recently shown interest in making movie with on Saroj Khan, and that it was the late choreographer’s wish. “We had a long conversation and she said, “kabhi mere upar biopic koi banaye, to tu hi banana, kyunki tu dance aur struggle do hi samajhta hai (if someone were to make by biopic, you do it because you know the struggle as well as dance’,” Remo had told in an interview.
Remo D’Souza began his career as choreographer and given single hits including ‘Singh is King’ and many more. With movies Remo D’Souza has also judged a number of dance reality shows including Dance India Dance, Dance Plus and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. After establishing himself in field of choreography he explored direction. Well, he is commendable in his and he is known for directing super hit films including Street Dancer 3D, ABCD, ABCD 2 and A Flying Jatt among others.
It is hard to hear that the young director suffered a stroke. We pray to God for his hearty health. We really hope that he gets well soon.
