The year 2014 ended on a great note for Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan as his PK beat many records on the box office and regaled the audiences thoroughly. The current year has not seen any release featuring the actor but Aamir Kan fans, there is nothing to worry. 2016 is all set to treat you to a stellar performance of the actor as Dangal is slated to release at the end of the year.
Inspired from the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who trained his girls to become pehelwans and win medals for the country, the movie is one of the most-anticipated releases. The actor is training hard to look like a wrestler and weighs 96 kg currently. In the movie, he will be seen in two very different looks. One will see him as a young 18-year old Mahavir while the other has him playing the role of a 50 year old father to four daughters.
The leading lady of the movie has not been finalized although Mallika Sherawat had auditioned for the role. As for Aamir’s daughters, the directors have zeroed in on Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Shaikh. For the younger version, two fresh faces have been cast, who were finalized after rigorous and extensive screen tests.
Produced by Disney Studio and directed by Nitesh Tewari, Dangal certainly seems to be the stuff milestones are made of. It is one of the most challenging roles Aamir has undertaken till date. Interestingly, he is playing wrestler for the first time in his career.
