On Sunday morning, the Shershaah cast, including actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, and producer Karan Johar, were spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport on their way to Kargil for the promotion of their film Shershaah. The film’s trailer will be unveiled alongside the cast and crew in Kargil on Sunday evening.
At the airport, Kiara was seen looking her best. She was dressed in denim jeans, knee-high boots, a camouflage olive cropped jacket, and a white T-shirt with the words ‘Dil Maange More’ on it. The statement is significant in the film since it is the phrase used by Captain Vikram Batra during the Kargil War to signal that the mission was a success. Sidharth Malhotra is set to appear in the film in the role of Captain Vikram Batra.
Sidharth Malhotra was photographed at the airport with camouflage olive track trousers, a black t-shirt, and a faux leather jacket, keeping it casual. With his yellow Balenciaga hoodie, matching purse, and shoes, Karan Johar gave a splash of colour to the team.
Shershaah, directed by Vishnu Varadhan and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, is based on the biography of Captain Vikram Batra, a Kargil war hero (PVC). Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani feature in the lead roles, with Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himmanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Ankita Goraya, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra in the pivotal role.
The film is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.
