Rashmika Mandanna Opens Up About Painful Hip Injury: “I Treated My Body Like a Machine”

Actor Rashmika Mandanna has shared a candid health update with her fans, revealing that a painful hip injury forced her to take an unexpected break from work and social media. Returning to Instagram with a heartfelt message and pictures from her home recovery—including quiet moments with her pets, desserts, and puzzles—she reassured followers that she is steadily healing.

In her post, Rashmika admitted that this was her third consecutive injury, reflecting on how relentlessly she had been pushing herself physically. She noted that she definitely needs to learn to treat her body like a human body rather than a machine. Explaining the medical issue, she revealed that a tendon connecting her right hip to her leg detached during an intense dance shoot for her upcoming movie Mysaa, which she described as her most physically demanding film yet.

Despite the severe setback, Rashmika maintained an optimistic attitude, telling fans not to worry because the pain, while present, was manageable. She jokingly remarked that the forced bed rest felt like a message from above to slow down, as she rarely takes time off voluntarily. She also confessed that the hardest part of recovery has been staying away from her daily intense fitness routines and running.

Fans flooded her comment section with supportive messages and well-wishes for a speedy recovery. Once fully healed, the actor is set to return to a busy slate of big-ticket projects, including Mysaa, Ranabaali, Pushpa 3, Animal Park, and Rakka. For now, Rashmika remains focused on rest and proper rehabilitation, promising to keep her followers updated as she recovers.
