Rashmika Mandanna to play brave Kashmiri Girl in Dulquer Salmaan’s film, first look OUT!
Dulquer Salmaan will next be featured in the untitled film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Lieutenant Ram will be played by Dulquer Salmaan, and Sita will be played by Mrunal Thakur. Rashmika Mandanna has now joined the cast as a new cast member. In this untitled bilingual picture, she has a never-before-seen character.
On the occasion of Rashmika Mandanna’s birthday, the makers issued a first look poster and confirmed her as a part of the project. She will play Afreen, a Kashmiri Muslim girl, in a heroic role. Rashmika Mandanna is seen strolling in front of a blazing car in the first scene. With a strong intensity in her eyes, she is seen wearing a crimson hijab and carrying a handbag. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s background score adds to the character’s aggressiveness.
Rashmika Mandanna will be playing a cameo role in the movie as a source told Pinkvilla, “Rashmika’s role is very critical for the film, and the makers were extremely happy when she agreed to be a part of the project. It’s an extended cameo.

Hanu Raghavapudi, known for melodramas like Anadala Rakshasi and Padi Padi Leche Manasu, is directing the untitled film. The music director is Vishal Chandrashekar. Swapna Movies and Vyjayanti Movies, who also produced Mahanati, are collaborating on this period love drama set in 1964, which will be released in Telugu and Malayalam.
