Ranveer Singh’s Manager Get 10 Cr Extortion Threat; Lawrence Bishnoi Behind it Claims Report
In the latest buzz, the Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s manager seems to be in problem. Yes, you heard it right, he has reportedly received a chilling extortion threat demanding Rs 10 crores, with investigators suspecting involvement of the gang led by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threat came via a WhatsApp voice note sent from a U.S.-based number, according to Mumbai Police officials.
As per reports, the Mumbai Crime Branch has launched a preliminary inquiry and is actively tracing the origin of the number used to send the message. Authorities have also contacted their counterparts in the United States through official channels to aid the investigation.
Initial findings indicate that a key associate of the Bishnoi gang, known as Harry Boxer, allegedly sent the voice note demanding Rs 10 crore. Investigators pointed out that the voice matches Harry Boxer’s, though forensic analysis and additional evidence are underway to confirm this.Officials noted that the threatening message was received shortly after a shooting incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence. The voice note was sent to the manager’s mobile soon after, raising alarm among security agencies.
Following the threat, security around Ranveer Singh has been significantly tightened as a precaution. The Crime Branch has recorded the manager’s statement and continues to probe the matter. No First Information Report (FIR) has been filed yet. Police said the inquiry is ongoing, and further action will depend on the investigation’s outcome.
