NCW Issues Notices to Mahesh Bhatt, Mouni Roy, & Others for modelling firm accused of exploiting girls
A bad day there for the veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actors like Mouni Roy, Urvashi Rautela, Rannvijay Singha and Prince Narula as they have got the National Commission For Women notices. Yes, you heard it right, the NCW chief Rekha Sharma seemed to have issued notices against these B Town celebs for promoting a modelling company involved in exploiting girls. The woman body chief was quick to quote about the same on her Twitter handle allowing everyone to know about the notice issued to the celebrities.
The lady did a series of Tweets, first sharing the news about sending notices to the celebrities and then how the girls were exploited by the modeling agency called IMG Ventures and its owner Mr Sunny Verma and his team.

3. NCW has taken serious note of their non-appearance. The meeting has been adjourned to next date, ie, on August 18 at 11.30 AM. You will be sent formal notices again and non-appearance will be followed by action as per our procedures.

This all started when a known activist Yogita Bhayana tweeted about the exploitation last month on 15th July tagging to the NCW. Check her tweet:

Soon the notice was given to the agency but they did not care to respond. This led the fresh notices to the Bollywood celebrities who supported the agency. Stay tuned for more on this issue only with us.
