Anupam Kher raised questions on Kashmiri Pandit’s murder

Anupam kher

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is very active on social media and for years he has been voicing the rights of Kashmiri Pandits. Recently, he once again condemned the incident on social media, in which terrorists shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit Sarpanch in Anantnag district. The event is on 8 June. Expressing grief over this incident, he has once again expressed his anger.

Anupam Kher released a video on Twitter and wrote- ‘I am sad and angry too. Ajay Pandit, the only sarpanch of Kashmiri Pandits, was shot dead in Anantnag, Kashmir. My soulful tribute to him. People who cry after beating their chest are also seen to be silent after this incident. Nobody’s voice is coming out.

Anger is evident in the video in Anupam’s face. ‘A lonely Kashmiri Pandit in Anantnag in Kashmir in the broad daylight … alone because there was no other Kashmiri Pandit Sarpanch in entire Kashmir. He was shot by killers, terrorists on the street. It is being repeated again, the same scandal that took place in the 80s, which was executed on 19 January 1990. Seeing his mother and father’s grief, she was very sad to see their suffering, and also very angry.

‘For the last several years, persecution has been going on with Kashmiri Pandits and no one opposes it openly. Not a single voice is raised.

At the end of the video, Anupam is seen saying, ‘Whatever happens in Kashmir, whether it is Muslim, whether it is a pandit, who is still a victim of terrorism, they are not to be saved when our security forces try to capture them. If you try, do not try to save them. Because maybe tomorrow, a member of your family can be shot in broad daylight. My soulful tribute to his family, to his children. om Shanti.’
