Rani Mukherji seems to be flying high seeing a decent collection and positive response from the audience about her movie Mardani. The movie though may be far in entering the 100 crore club yet seems to be liked by one and all. Despite getting the A certificate, Mardani has successfully garnered good response from the audience along with positive reviews from the critics. The A certificate has only given by the censor board considering the bold language and content found in the film. Rani was seen addressing a press conference on behest of a number of NGOs and of course for her audience.
He said she would be sending her movie for re-certification to censor board. Mardani has gained 15 crore collection in the opening weekend and it is being made tax free at states like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Mukherji is often known to make movies on such issues and Mardani is one of them, which deals with female trafficking. The team of Mardani wants the girls of 12 years and less to watch this movie and get empowered since this has been one of the motive of making this movie by Yash Raj Films. Â Â Now Rani is seen doing a campaign on this and hence want the censor board to reconsider the A certificate awarded to this movie. Also, present in the press conference were Tahir Raj, Pradeep Sarkar and Gopi Puthran.
