Its been a while to see Ranbir Kapoor on the silver screen, the last time we saw the actor was in the film Sanju in 2018, since then he has been missed on the silver screen. He was supposed to make his presence felt the next year in 2019 with the Ayaan Mukherji’s film Brahmastra, however, it was delayed for many reasons to get the summer release in 2020 and then to the next date in December the same year. Now, we hear that the film is once again pushed for the next year release.
So, Ranbir Kapoor is going to Miss 2020 as well with no releases this year. While he is also the part of other film like Shamshera with Sanjay Dutt in it but the film is going to hit only in the coming year, which again shelves the hope of his fans to see him on the big screen this year. Brahmastra has been already delayed in a big way and was supposed to be released on 4th December but now as we see the work for the film getting delayed with the COVID 19 virus, the makers have the reason to push more in 2021.
The film Brahmastra carries loads of VFX and special effects and thus require loads of time to manage them all for the movie. Karan Johar the producer of the film has been seeking the help of all the VFX effects at the studios of Shah Rukh Khan owned studio called Red Chillies Studio in Mumbai. However, with his film getting disrupted with the Coronavirus outbreak and Mumbai is likely to be locked down for 10 to 12 days, it has been a great loss at work.
