Ramya Krishnan Spills the Beans on her Absence in Bollywood

Just when the actor Ramya Krishan made her appearance in Baahubali playing her popular role called Sivgami Devi, she gained a huge popularity. All thanks to the huge buzz the film created at the box office. She had even done a handful of movies in B Town in the nineties but after her big blockbuster, she started making news once again. She had worked in films like Shapath, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Criminal and Khal Nayak to name a few. 

While talking about her absence from Bollywood, the actress was seen giving the reason for the same. She said her films in Bollywood didn’t do well at the box office that made her lose interest with the offers she had for the films. She said she was  not on break but was busy in South Indian films. She had worked with Big B in her Hindi-Tamil based film soon, which is yet to come on floor. She said the makers had some issues that kept the film away from releasing. 

Talking about her next film, it is a Telugu and Hindi film with Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the leading roles. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar while Puri Jagannadh is the director. This is her next film post ‘Baahubali’. Talking about the same she said that 50 per cent  of the film is complete but with the COVID 19, the film faced the delay. She also did a web series with Zee called Queen playing the late CM of Tamil Nadu. Talking about her lockdown schedule, she said she was busy cooking, workout and spending time with family.
