Is Janhvi Kapoor set to portray Goddess Sita? According to a recent report by Firstpost, Janhvi Kapoor has been locked in to portray Goddess Sita in Ramayana. Director Nitesh Tiwari appears to have recognized her potential, believing that the Dhadak actress is well-suited for the role. Earlier indications pointed to Sai Pallavi joining Ranbir Kapoor in the film’s shoot commencing in February 2024, but it seems there have been some last-minute adjustments, leading to her departure from the project.

It’s worth noting that Janhvi Kapoor has previously collaborated with Nitesh Tiwari on Bawaal, co-starring Varun Dhawan. With an in-depth understanding of her strengths and weaknesses, the filmmaker’s decision to cast her as Sita promises an intriguing portrayal of the revered goddess.
