Raman Raghav 2.0 and Junooniyat 1st Week Box Office Report

box office collection

Last Friday, there were couple of films were seen getting released and it soon gave the meager collection at the end of the day. Not just the day but also the weekend, which stretched to the week. The Box Office report for the films released last Friday has no good story to tell for obvious reasons. Now, time to check for the films that are seen releasing the same day.

If you talk about the film Raman Raghav 2.0, the movie had a slow start, which kept on moving with the same pace, not just on the day but but on the weekend and then in the complete week as well. As per reports, the first weekend report for Raman Raghav 2.0 has given a low figure of around 6.0 crores. The dark drama thriller movie had mixed reviews with cool performance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui failed to get a good word of mouth that later gave not much moolah to the film.

Next come the film Junooniyat, which had a dull start. The Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat tarrer film was no better than their previously released movie Sanam Re. So, as per reports, the first week box office collection for Junnoniyat has somehow reached to 3.5 crore, which is seriously low. Now moving on to the next film called 7 Hours To Go, which was a crime thriller simply failed to take off. Thanks to the low promotion found over the box office along with A Scandal having similar story to go.

Also the other mid budge film releasing with slew of other movies including Dil Toh Deewana Hai had similar story to tell. On the other side, when we had Hollywood movie – Independence Day: Resurgence releasing the very same Friday, it had a decent collection, which is reaching to around 30 crores at the end of the first week, while Udta Punjab continues to score better reaching close to 60 crores.
