viraj karan

Vijay Deverakonda has been making news for his recent film release Dear Comrade. Karan Johar who has got the rights for a Hindi remake film in Bollywood at a whopping cost of 6 Crores has approached Vijay for the same. He offered him 40 Crores for the B Town film for the lead role, but as per reports, the actor has turned down the offer despite the whopping amount. It seems that Vijay is simply not interested in taking a plunge in Bollywood as he is happy with his Telugu films.

Earlier in his interview to the media, he said he would not be in any film which intends to tell the same story again to the audience. So, he does not want to be in a film that tells the same story which he has already given to the audience. So, despite the big amount promised to the actor, he simply denied doing so with the said reason. Talking about opening in Bollywood, he said that it would be interesting to do a Hindi film but he would only do a film which is both Telugu and Hindi at the same time.

Earlier, Kabir Singh was also offered to the Dear Comrade actor which is based on the Telugu drama film Arjun Reddy but he again rejected the offer for the same reason. Talking about his debut in Bollywood, he said the film city Mumbai is too fast for him as he still likes to stay back in his old and lazy lifestyle with his friends. He further said he would like to do things on his conditions. His film Dear Comrade has done a decent performance with good reviews but it seems that VD is not in a mood to do a Hindi remake, therefore it would be interesting to see who would be the next choice of Karan Johar for the film.
