Raayan: Dhanush’s Compelling First Look Unleashes a Wave of Anticipation for His Upcoming Revenge Drama, Check Out the Poster
Tamil superstar Dhanush has recently unveiled details about his 50th film, “Raayan,” which is set to be produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Notably, Dhanush himself will be directing the film. The first glimpse of the movie was shared with an intriguing poster that also revealed the superstar’s first look. Dhanush took to his Instagram handle to share the poster with the caption “RAAYAN.” In the poster, Dhanush appeared intense as he stood dressed in an apron. The film also features SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and Sundeep Kishan in lead roles, with music being composed by AR Rahman.
“Raayan” is anticipated to be a revenge drama and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The film wrapped up shooting in December of last year and is currently in the post-production stage. Dhanush began filming this project in July of the same year, and the film was announced with a new poster featuring the actor with a clean-shaven head.

In 2017, Dhanush made his directorial debut with the film “Pa Paandi,” which also earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Director in the Tamil film industry.
Dhanush, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema, recently starred in the film “Captain Miller,” which received mixed reviews from fans. The movie, produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and directed by Arun Matheswaran, marked the first installment of a trilogy, featuring supporting performances from Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Aditi Balan, Sundeep Kishan, Edward Sonnenblick, and John Kokken.
Additionally, Dhanush has commenced work on his third directorial project, “Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam,” featuring a young cast, including Pavishm Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Warrier, and Mathew Thomas in lead roles. He also has the Bollywood movie “Tere Ishk Mein” with director Anand L Rai in the pipeline.
