Pushpa 2 Dominates Box Office as Allu Arjun’s Blockbuster Nears ₹1,500 Crore Worldwide

Pushpa 2: The Rule has made a significant impact at the box office in its first 17 days, amassing a remarkable total worldwide collection of ₹1467.80 crore. According to reports from Sacnilk, the film’s net earnings in India stand at ₹1029.65 crore. In addition, the gross collection in India is reported to be ₹1227.8 crore, while the film has garnered ₹240 crore from overseas markets, showcasing its massive global appeal.The film continues to dominate the box office, regaining strong momentum on its third Saturday post-release. On Day 17 alone, Pushpa 2 earned an estimated ₹25 crore in India net. The breakdown of earnings across different languages is as follows:

  • Telugu: ₹4.35 crore
  • Hindi: ₹20 crore
  • Tamil: ₹0.55 crore
  • Kannada: ₹0.08 crore
  • Malayalam: ₹0.02 crore

With these figures, the cumulative net collection in India on Day 17 reaches approximately ₹1029.9 crore. Notably, Pushpa 2: The Rule has recently entered the prestigious ₹1000 crore net club in India, joining the ranks of SS Rajamouli’s epic blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. For over seven years, Baahubali 2 held this milestone alone, with films like KGF: Chapter 2 and the original Pushpa coming close, but it is now Pushpa 2 that has officially surpassed the ₹1000 crore mark. Directed by Sukumar, the film features a stellar cast including Allu ArjunRashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, and it was released in multiple languages: Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.

Incident at Allu Arjun’s Residence

In a related incident, a group identifying themselves as members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee vandalized property at Allu Arjun’s residence on Sunday. This protest was in response to the tragic death of a woman during a stampede at a screening of Pushpa 2, with the group demanding justice for the deceased.
