Producer Ritesh Sidhwani gives major update about Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 3
Fans of actor Shah Rukh Khan and the Don franchise have been anticipating the third installment for over a decade. Don 2 was released in 2011, and director Farhan Akhtar has repeatedly suggested that they are working on the film, which is now coming to an end after a 12-year wait.
Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan’s production partner at Excel Entertainment, has revealed that they are definitely working on Don 3 and that the project is currently in the screenplay stage.Ritesh Sidhwani stated that he is currently unaware of the narrative specifics of the highly anticipated film.
“We won’t do anything until my partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it,” Ritesh said, according to PTI. He is currently in the process of finishing the script. We’re all looking forward to seeing Don.”
This remake of the 1978 film starring Amitabh Bachchan, was released in 2006, Don’s success prompted the release of its much-anticipated sequel, Don 2: The King Is Back (2011). The film continued the story of the charismatic Don, delving deeper into his world of crime and deception.
This important update about the third installment has piqued the interest of fans who have been anticipating the action franchise for over a decade. Since then, Don 3 has been trending on Twitter.

Sidhwani is currently promoting Excel Entertainment’s latest web series, Dahaad. Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, the show stars Sonakshi Sinha. Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah.
Meanwhile on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in mass action entertainer ‘Jawan’ which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 7 September 2023. Helmed by Atlee Kumar, ‘Jawan’ also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sunil Grover, and Sanya Malhotra.
