Ab Tak Chappan 2 starring Nana Patekar failed to garner positive reviews for the film. As expected the film really didn’t garner good collection over the box office. The comeback of this man didn’t really help the film to escalate over the box office. As per reports, the film is collected 1.25 crores on its first day followed by a little bit of escalation of around 1.85 crores and on Sunday it went to around 2.25 crore, with the collection tolling to around 4.35 crores over the domestic box office. Considering the decent amount of 1375 screens, the collection at the end of its first weekend seems to be very much low.
The movies didn’t get much of positive or good reviews from the critics and thus will have to rely over the positive word of mouth only in order to pick up the collection. It really seems that as the movie was already made over a low budget of 20 crores, it is really difficult for the filmmaker to recover the cost. However, on the other end the other movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha seems to have a positive review, which embarks as a big hurdle for the film.
