5 Indian Web Series Perfect To Binge Watch

Made-in-India web series are almost covering the web space adding an explosive growth of content and audiences in the same pace since the last one year. Here’s a list of some of the popular shows to binge watch:

BARD OF BLOOD (NETFLIX)

This eight-part web series is inspired from Bilal Siddiqi’s 2015 novel with the same name, cultivating a story of a former spy – Kabir Ahmed – who takes up to save his country and his long-lost love. The series is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.

MIRZAPUR SEASON 2 (PRIME VIDEO)

The last season of Mirzapur web series was a total hit with immense drama and action and is making a return on Amazon Prime Video for its second season. Pankaj Tripathi as the ruthless Kaleen bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit and Vikrant Massey as Bablu Pandit had been pretty immersive character revolving around the story of the Mirzapur town and this time, once again it is expected to be high with promises more guns, betrayal and blood.

LEILA (NETFLIX)

The web series depicts the remake of the British show with the same name and stars Huma Qureshi, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles. The plot revolves around a pretty gripping plot and a stellar cast show that is good enough to be watched by the audiences.

HALALA (ULLU)

Ullu web series highlights the issues faced post-triple talaq by the women in some of the Muslim communities. The cast holds a perfect mix of veteran and young talents including the veteran TV actress Neelima Azeem who have delivered this engaging storyline making it a show worth a watch.

METRO PARK (EROS NOW)

This Eros Now original subjects to a funny story of Kalpesh and Payal Patel, the protagonists, who reside in New Jersey, USA, with two grown-up kids often confused about the bizarre shenanigans of their parents. This 9 episode light-hearted web series captures several common traits of a ubiquitous Gujarati NRI family and is flavourfully a snack for the viewers.
