Delhi Based Crime Show at Neflix will help in Women’s Safety – Sanjay Bishnol
We know Sanjay Bishnol to be an actor who is also involved in hunting new faces for his TV shows and films. He is seen making a web series for Netflix based on crime on women targetting New Delhi. The actor and casting director, Sanjay Bishnoi was seen getting invited at the prestigious Sundance Festival as the said web series was primered there. Being an actor and castign director he got the chance to talk about his upcoming venture. The web series is based on the infamous Nirbhaya gang rape case.
Richie Mehta is the director of the TV show that has covered the infamous Nirbhaya case of 2012. The web series focuses on the ten days of the case equally dividing the said number of days (5 days pre and post incident). The makers have referred the original case files to make the web series strong and realistics. If you know Richie Mehta then you must be knowing that he happens to be a relative of the then Delhi commissioner called Neeraj Kumar who requested the cop head to make a web series on the incident.
The director then met the lady officer Vartika Chaturvedi who has taken care of this case and the role is played by Shefali Shah. Talking about the web series, he said this will be change the systems on woman safety. He said that the makers are hopeful that the web series will educate people about the crime against woman and would stand for the same. He then talked about his role stating that he is playing the character of Akash in the show who happens to be the victim’s victim. He then shard about his experience shooting for the web series.
