Global Citizen Festival India 2016: Overwhelming Response – all tickets sold out
Ever since the Global Citizen Festival India 2016 was announced in India, it has been in a constant buzz in the media. The recently carried out launching program followed by the sale of the event’s tickets. The tickets were sold in three phases and in all these phases the response was excellent. As per the recent report, all the tickets sold online are now being sold out.
As per the country’s leading entertainment ticketing brand called BookMyShow, the portal when opened up the sale for the tickets, it simply vanished in no time. The early bird tickets cost around 5000 INR and it simply vanished in thin air thanks to the overwhelming response. This festival is supposed to be headlined by Coldplay the British rock band. Similarly, the other phase of ticket sale also had received a good response for both the Gold and Silver categories.
The said event is produced by the group called Wizcraft International and is seen featuring a number of performances by a number of celebrities including the hip-hop legend Jay Z, and Bollywood stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shraddha Kapoor along with music legend called A. R. Rahman and the music composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and singers like Arijit Singh and Monali Thakur.
