Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’ will have an actor from ‘Swades’ Check Who’s the actor?
The film Sadak 2 seems to be gearing up with some buzz in the media ever since the film was announced in the media. The Mahesh Bhatt directed film was a big hit when it was released with Sanjay Dutt as a lead actor, while the makers felt to leverage from the glory of the film, hence they embarked upon with the idea of making a sequel as well. The sequel also got a notice in the media due to the presence of Alia Bhatt along with others in it.
Alia has got the female lead role in it, which will be directed by her own father. The plot of the film deals with a self-styled godmen, which is still a relevant theme in today’s current era. Now, we have the buzz the star cast of the film will have one actor from the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Swadesh released way back in 2006. Yes, we have an actor from the said film, who is none other than Makarand Deshpande. The actor would be playing a negative role in the movie. He is a veteran actor and thus would be playing the character of godman in it.
The sequel of the film will also have Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in the sequel and has remained the star cast of the 1991 hit film Sadak. Also, the Kalank actor – Aditya Roy Kapur would be seen in the male lead role. Talking about his role, he said that the character to be both challenging and intense and the makers have already started with the workshop to get into to skin of the character. The role of a godman would be strong and layered character having too many negative shades.
