Pranitha Subhash is a popular face in South Indian movie world as she does more of Telugu and Kannada movies than any other films. She was born on 17th October 1992 and was raised in Bangalore. Her parents are based in Bangalore and run their hospital and she happens to be the only child of her parents. During her student life, she got the chance to do modeling and she soon she was roped in a south Indian film. In the year 2010 she was lucky enough to get a Telugu film called Pokiri, which marked her film career in South Indian film industry. The very same year, she was offered the Telugu movie called Em Pillo Em Pillado, while her Tamil movie called Udhayan the very next year.
Some of her South Indian films include Jarasandha, Bheema Theeradalli, Saguni, Snehitaru, Whistle and Mr. 420 to name a few. Some of her recent movies include Mass, Dynamite and A 2nd Hand Lover to name a few, while she is currently filming for the movie Brahmot savam. She has been nominated in a couple of awards but has won a few including Edison Award for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Masss, Santosham Jury Award and Cinemaa Awards Face of the year for the film Attarintiki Daredi. She was nominated for Filmfare and SIIMA for the best actor (female) and supporting actor for above movies.
Besides, acting in silver screen for south Indian films, she is also known to have a number of endorsements, which include the brands like SVB Silks Salem, Joyalukkas, Bombay Jewellery, Pondichery, RS Brothers and Sri Lakshmi Jewellery. She was also the brand ambassador of the team Karnataka Bulldozers in the CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) in its third season in 2013. In October 2014, Pranitha along with who was chosen as the ambassador for the Jewels of India, which is a fashion jewellery exhibition at Bangalore.
