Popular Film Director Producer Harish Shah No More

harish

A bad news there for the B Town fans as we yet another veteran from the industry passing away. It seems that the year 2020 has been proving bad to worse for the Tinsel Town as many of the stars and veteran celebs have passed away. The latest to leave us after Saroj Khan is Harish Shah. He was the known film director and producer who passed away this morning.

The veteran filmmaker has given a number of movies to B Town, which include Mere Jeevan Saathi, Kala Sona, Zalzala, Dhan Daulat, sizzlinge, Jaal The Trap and Ram Tere Kitne Naam to name a few, which are termed as the classic movies in B Town. He has been working in the industry for the past four decades, while his recent work includes the short film called Why Me, which seemed to have created a good buzz in the media.

The film was based on a cancer patient, which was awarded at various film festivals in India and abroad. The filmmaker was also active on social media and was seen tweeting on 17th May supporting the government on various moves. The filmmaker has worked with veteran actors and superstars of the nineties and of the early 2000’s with his extraordinary films. His last rites are expected to be done today with limited people for obvious reasons. May his soul rest in peace.
