Kushal Badrike is another actor who has been working in the Marathi cinema business for nearly two decades but is consistently cast in comedic roles.

Kushal has a unique opportunity to play a terrible role, based on a real character, for the first time in his career. Kushal has been cast in the character of ‘Kurbat Khan,’ a Mughal warrior. Kushak took to Instagram to inform his followers of the news.

‘Kurbat Khan,’ a Bahlol Khan loyalist and custodian of the imperial sultanate, was a cruel Bijapur spy. “It was actually difficult for the actor in me to play this role that would frustrate and enrage the viewer.” As a result, I’ve taken on this responsibility by employing a distinct strategy. Om Bhutkar and Monalisa Bagal feature in the upcoming historical, romantic drama film Ravrambha. Anup Ashok Jagdale, known for films such as Zhalla Bobhata (2017) and Bhirkit, is directing the historical epic. (2019). Girish Kulkarni also plays a crucial role in the film. However, the specifics of his role have been kept under wraps.

Ravrambha is based on the life of Ravrambha Nimbalkar, a Maratha warrior in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film, produced by Shashikant Pawar under the brand of Shashikant Pawar Productions, began filming in December 2021 and is set to hit theatres on May 12, 2023.
