Pooja Hegde to TV actress Helly Shah, actresses flaunting looks from Cannes Film Festival

On the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, Indian superstars made a big impression. The red carpet was undoubtedly filled with several Indian faces, from Pooja Hegde in white to Tamannaah Bhatia in black and Helly Shah making a gorgeous debut in a grey-green gown. Aishwarya Rai wore a ball gown on the red carpet as well.

Pooja Hegde looked stunning in a strapless gown with a feather skirt. Pooja used the hashtag ‘Crafted in India’ when posting images of her outfit on Instagram, implying that it was designed by an Indian designer.

Pooja remarked during the 75th edition of the event’s inauguration of the Indian pavilion, according to reports, “I’ve not come (to the Cannes Film Festival) with a brand, but I’ve come with brand India. I’ve come (here) as a representative. It’s an honor for me to be very honest to come (here) as an Indian actor celebrating Indian cinema.”

Tamannaah, meanwhile, wore a glossy black gown with a thigh-high split along the red carpet. It was paired with a sheer cape.

Helly Shah, who has been in TV programs like Swaragini and Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, made her Cannes Film Festival debut this year. She wore a studded grey-green gown with a matching cloak to the red carpet. Helly was seen in a video by Variety while attending a screening of Top Gun: Maverick at the Cannes Film Festival.

On Wednesday, Hina tweeted photos of herself dressed up for a photo shoot in Cannes. Hina wore a red colored shimmery gown in which the actress looked very beautiful.

Pooja Hegde and Tamannaah were among the Indian celebrities that walked the red carpet on Tuesday, including AR Rahman, R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur. This year’s festival is more remarkable for India because it has been named the ‘Country of Honour’ at Marche Du Film.
