The film talks about the life of PM Narendra Modi and the major events that comes from his life. From being a mediocre person to the most powerful man of the country, the film showcases the journey of this man as a nationalist, RSS Parcharak, a Chaiwala, and the Indian PM.
A biopic with a balanced story will always engage you, however, the one that showcases a man that is worshiped by many without showcasing the controversies that also remain the part of his life is difficult to engage the audience. The timing of the film still remains apt as Modi gets a thumping majority for the second time, but to call the audience in a big way would be interesting to see at this moment. Except for the mother-son relationship and the self-discovery of this man, nothing much is engaging in the film.
Vivek could be a good actor though, but the way he has tried to copy Modi on the silver screen is ridiculous. He has simply failed to mimic Modi, forget about catching up his manner, body language, and other things. Seems that the makers were in a hurry to make this film that has led Vivek to do his homework right. There seem to be little preparations made by the makers. The others in the star cast were okay as they had little time on the screen to perform and prove their presence. The other elements like music, photography, screenplay and technical stuff remain average helping not much to boost the entertainment value of the film.
PM Narendra Modi The Last word
The film has a little bit of Modi rather than covering with a perfect balance that can make a biopic justified. It seems that the makers planned to make this film with some other objective and failed as a filmmaker to impress the critics and audience alike. Only the fans and followers of Modi would care to catch the film, otherwise, it will fail to attract others in big number.
