Katrina Kaif resumes shooting for Phone Bhoot amid Covid situation
As the covid cases have declined in these days, the entertainment industry has got back to their work and have resumed shooting for their respective projects. Well, due to this pandemic, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter starrer Phone Bhoot was also on hold and now when things are back to track the crew of Bhoot Police has resumed shooting for the film.
According to the latest report, Katrina Kaif is back to the film and has been rehearsing for its dance number at Mumbai’s Yashraj Studio. The song also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter and will be choreographed by Ganesh Hegde.
A source from the film industry revealed to ETimes, “All the shootings that were on hold are likely to resume by the end of the month, as cases in Maharashtra have begun to reduce. It has brought back the confidence in the film industry to return to work.”
Meanwhile, Phone Bhoot helmed by Gurmeet Singh is tentatively said to be released on 15th July 2022 under the Excel Entertainment banner.
Apart from this, Katrina was earlier filming Merry Christmas. She will soon start shooting for the next schedule of Tiger 3 with Salman Khan which was previously postponed due to the rising COVID cases in Delhi. The actress also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Lee Zaraa, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. According to media reports, Vicky Kaushal has also been approached for the male lead in the movie opposite Katrina Kaif. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.
