Its been five weeks since the Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma movie PK has been released. From the very first day the collection of the film has been overwhelming, which moved up in the following first weekend keeping the same pace during the festival days of Christmas and New Year Eve day off. Thanks to the incredible performance of Aamir Khan and the out of box script of Rajkumar Hirani, the film kept on getting positive vibes and collection for longer run. Also, the opposition from the right wing organizations too have fuelled a good word of mouth publicity for the audience drawing them far and wide to catch the film.
Together the film has performed in the most incredible way, giving one of the best collections and making history by entering into the 300 crore club. PK is among the only movie, which crossed the 300 crore mark at domestic collection and 600 crore mark at the world wide collection. The total PK’s 5th Week Box Office collection tolled to around 338 crores, with a profit percentage of 29 percent over the box office. The movie is still running in the domestic and overseas location and hence is likely to cross the mark of 350 crore figure.
