The Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film PK after getting an overwhelming response in India and global market is all set to release in Germany. The movie has one of the widest releases ever for any Hindi film in the world. PK is getting 5000 screens all over the world and was released in more than 40 nations including Middle East, UK, Netherlands, North America, Australia, Singapore and other Asian nations. The movie also has been released in China with wide range of prints and now is gearing up to hit in Germany.
As per the director, Rajkumar Hirani was seen sharing this news in the mircoblogging site Twitter wherein he expressed his glee and excitement. The movie challenges the stereotypes found in Indian religions and has broken all the previous records in terms of number of audience and collections. As per the reports, the performance of Hindi movies in German has been seen on a decline, while the trend of releasing the movie in Germany was started by Karan Johar for his film called Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, which garnered a good responce. The other movies included Kal Ho Na Ho and My Name is Khan, which also did a good business in German market. Treading this path, PK too will be releasing on 16th of April for Bollywood fans in Germany.
