The Kabir Khan’s film – Phantom released this Friday seems to be doing better over the box office. With Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the main lead, the film is loosely based on the avenge of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Though the film started with a low occupancy on the first day, but it seemed to have ended up in a right note. With more than 8.5 crores on the first day at the box office, this film proved out to be a decent grocer for Saif Ali Khan as compared to the previous film Happy Ending and even the earlier one called Bullet Raja.
The word of mouth played a significant role in boosting up the collection of Phantom. The first weekend witnessed a good surge in the coming weekend of the film. Phantom saw the collection of around 12.78 crores on Saturday, while on Sunday went to around 13 crores, which gave a decent collection at the end of the first weekend. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection tolled to around 34 crores, which is actually a good collection for the Kabir Khan movie. As the film seems to garner positive appreciation, hence a good amount of surge is expected even during the weekday collection. After all Phantom is becoming a quintessential entertainer in Bollywood.
