This Friday, we had two movies releasing the theatres, which certainly included the one called Kaun Kitne Paani Mein. It is basically a political and social satire, which dealt with the issue of water that is considered to be a pertinent issue of our society. Virtually, the film was a content rich movie, having a strong star cast, yet with minimal star value and low promotion of the film in the media helped the film to hamper the most. From the very first day, the low occupancy was seen in the film, which kept on hampering the film for a longer run.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection tolled to around 4.5 crores, which is the below average collection for the film. Though the director was prepared for the same fate, as these people were unable to promote it, as compared to the other movie released called Phantom this Friday. The Saif Ali Khan & Katrina Kaif film managed to sweep the audience, making the other released film falter and hamper the best. As per reports, the film can be called as a niche film, made in a style of documentary with some spice and masala added in it. Despite all efforts the film appeared cool yet it failed to give the kind of response it expected over the media.
