Pernia Qureshi is not a known name these days as she did her debut in Bollywood with the movie called Jaanisaar. She is a known face in style industry for the fashion industry since a decade and popular as fashion entrepreneurs. She is born and brought in New Delhi and since childhood she had an interest in creative fields, which helped her to learn formally the dance of Kuchipudi under the known dance couple Raja Radha Reddy. She has performed at a number of stages of both national and international locations on several music particularly on the Sufi Music by Abida Parveen along with the dance transliteration of Urdu Poems of Minu Bakshi.
As she grew up she did her graduation in fashion designing which gave her the launch pad to launch her own dress designing boutique. With her unique styles in designing, she soon embarked as a style icon in India and a leading fashion entrepreneur. She worked hard to get the chance to network with competent name in style industry like Harper’s Bazaar, Conde Nast an Elle in the US and back in India. She has started her venture in Bollywood for the film in Aisha in 2010 for the first time. She even created and launched the Pop Up Show of her own, which turned country’s first debut true fashion portal catering over a hundred different designers and their designs, which are available for global clientele.
Apart from being the style icon and a competent name in styling and attire designing, Pernia Qureshi has also written her own book called Be Stylish with Pernia Qureshi was earlier published by Random House Publishers in the year 2013. Her journey in Bollywood started with styling in Aisha in 2010, but in 2015, she was seen over the silver screen with the film called Jaanisaar. It is a period drama, which is set over the independence India wherein she played the character of modern and young Indian woman seen in grace, style and passion. In this film, she was seen in most of her own designed dresses making her gorgeous.
