Tamannaah Bhatia to Lead Start-Up Dramedy Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment for Prime Video: Report
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is gearing up to join forces with Dharma Productions’ digital arm, Dharmatic Entertainment, for an upcoming startup dramedy destined for Prime Video India. While the project’s title remains shrouded in secrecy, it is known that Archit Kumar, known for Dr. Arora, will be at the helm of this lighthearted series.
According to a report by Peeping Moon, this dramedy will center around two women, and the search for the second lead is currently underway. The report indicates, “Currently in pre-production, filming is scheduled for mid-March or early April, building anticipation for a nuanced exploration of the triumphs and tribulations of the startup journey.”
This venture represents Dharmatic Entertainment’s second project, following Showtime, which stars Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah and is slated for a summer 2024 release.
For Tamannaah Bhatia, this marks her fourth foray into the digital realm, following her appearances in Prime Video’s Jee Karda, Netflix’s Plan A Plan B, and Disney+Hotstar’s Aakhiri Sach.
In addition to her digital ventures, Tamannaah Bhatia is set to feature in the John Abraham-starrer Vedaa, the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Bole Chudiyan, and the Tamil film Arnamanai 4. This diverse array of projects underscores her versatility and commitment to delivering compelling performances across various platforms.
