Varun Dhawan is back for the third time to do a film for his father David Dhawan. This time he is doing the remake of Coolie No. 1, which was also directed by his father alone. There are rumors that the film would have some changes in it when compared to the original film starring Govinda and Karishma Kapoor, but they have retained two songs from it. Kader Khan has played an important role of a man who is the father of the two young ladies including Karishma.
Now, the role of Kader Khan has been given to Paresh Rawal as he is no more in this world. As per reports, Paresh Rawal has been roped in for the film to play the father’s role of Sara Ali Khan, while Varun Dhawan will be essaying the role of Govinda playing a coolie at Mumbai Central station. The sudden demise of Kader Khan has left a void in the film, which is somewhere is filled by Paresh Rawal in the movie.
The remake of Coolie No. 1 is directed by David Dhawan, while it has Govinda, Kader Khan, and Karishma in it. The two songs from the film that are retained in the remake include Main To Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha and Husn Hai Suhana. The film is likely to hit in Mid July till the makers decide the complete star cast of the film. Now, we have Paresh Rawal in it who would be playing the father’s role of Sara Ali Khan.
