After releasing a few posters, the makers of the film Nakkash are back with the trailer release. The film has Inaamul Haq & Sharib Hashmi along with Kumud Mishra in the lead role. The film talks about a Muslim man played by Inaamul Haq who is an artist that carves the figures of Hindu Gods and deities. The film talks about communal harmony and the politics that moves around this issue to create a divide between the two communities.
The film with its powerful subject has already reached to the Cannes Film Festival, which has started from 8th May 2019 and would last long for ten days. Besides Nakkash we have also the film of Nawazuddin Siddiqui called Manto by Nandita Das too has reached the festival. The Nakkash will be screened on 11th May 2018 and happens to be the third installment of Zaigham Imam, which deals with the story of Varanasi. His first film as a director included ‘Dozakh: In Search Of Heaven’, which is based on a novel with the same name released in 2015.
His next film was Alif, which talked about a young boy from Madarsa background getting admission in a conventional school to face all odds to become a doctor one fine day with his efforts and issues faced at the school in his childhood. Now, comes the film Nakkash, which is produced under the banners of A B Infosoft (Zaigham Imam), Jalsa Pictures (Pawan Tiwari) in association with ‘Padmaja Productions (Govind Goyal) and Muvizz.com (Mr. Piiysuh Singh).
