Paresh Rawal Enrolls for Farhan Akhtar’s Toofan

pareshFarhan Akhtar is already known to be working pretty hard on his new upcoming project Toofan. Right from the shooting to the detailed preparations, the perfectionist Farhan is already taking care of all. Even though the details about Toofan are presently quite sparse but, as per the sources report, Paresh Rawal will be playing as the boxing coach in the film. Farhan will be playing as a boxer for the film and with Paresh Rawal on board anticipations are definitely high. The actor is best known for his  most inspiring realistic roles and this time once  again playing as a boxer, he isn’t leaving a single stone un-turned.

The project is subjected to be co-produced by Excel Entertainment and ROMP Pictures. Rawal’s most recent appearance was in Uri: The Surgical Strike, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam which went on as a huge success on the box office meter. The veteran actor Paresh Rawal is all set to feature in the upcoming Farhan Akhtar-fronted sports drama, Toofan.

Sharing the news via his Twitter account, Akhtar mentioned his comments overwhelmed unwinding the news of Rawal joining the cast: “Thrilled and privileged to collaborate with an absolute giant of an actor. So looking forward @SirPareshRawal #Toofan.”

The film is being helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and will be featuring Akhtar in the role of a boxer.

This is going to be the actor-director duo’s second project after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a 2013 biopic based on legendary Indian athlete Milkha Singh. This film was also a super hit on box office.
