Panga 1st Weekend Box Office Collection

Panga

The Kangana Ranaut film Panga opened on a disappointing note. All thanks to the sports niche film, which did not attract a huge amount of rush to the film for obvious reasons. Although the makers and the star cast did create some decent amount of buzz in the media, but it failed to translate into the collection. With the first day collection of 2.71 Crores, there seemed some amount of boost on the second day with collection 5.6 Crores leading to a total of 8.31 Crores.

However, the film faced a tough competition from the Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Street Dancer 3D. Hence the footfall for the film remained on the downside. The third-day box office collection seemed to be a sigh of relief for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari the director of the film as it bagged around 6.5 Crores giving an okay figure. So, with these figures, the first-weekend box office collection went to around 14.81 Crores.

However, the true test for the film would be seen during the weekdays as how many collections it will draw on a daily basis. Looking at the trend and the buzz the film has created in the media, all one can say that the collection would remain in between 2-4 Crores. Thus comparing it with the other film released on the same day, the collection would remain half only. It was obvious to have such a collection and the experts also expected a similar amount of collection at the box office. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
