Pallavi Sharda Stars the Tom and Jerry film

pallavi shardaThe Warner Bros’ film Tom and Jerry is in quite a talks these days. The film casts some of the prime stars including- Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Colin Jost and others. It is scheduled to release on April 16, 2021. Another addition in the film recently took place in the form of the Indian actor Pallavi Sharda. The actress has boarded the cast of the live-action/animated hybrid film adaptation borrowed from the classic all-time favourite cartoon series- Tom and Jerry.

Sharda, born in Perth, Australia, has already featured in a number of Bollywood films and received a lot of fame working opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Besharam and Ayushmann Khurrana in Hawaizaada.

She has joined the film’s cast alongside the other favourite faces including- Ken Jeong, Rob Delaney and Jordan Bolger.

Actors Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena and Colin Jost are taken up to play the leads in the film. The story will be helmed by the director Tim Story, as per Hollywood reports obtained from a major Hollywood media platform.

The project comes from the famous Warner Bros stable and will be showing the animated versions of Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse; however, they will be remaining silent similar to their original cartoon characters.

Moretz will be portraying as Kayla, a new employee at a posh hotel where Jerry creates his residence. She hires Tom, who is a struggling alley cat, to get rid of Jerry but, the pair soon turns out to work together to get rid of Kayla’s evil boss, Terrance, played by Pena.

Chris DeFaria will be serving as the producer, while Story and Adam Goodman are the executive producers for the film that will be releasing on April 16, 2021.
