Palash Mucchal Faces Controversy Again Amid Cheating Allegations
Palash Mucchal has once again found himself embroiled in controversy, just months after the alleged cheating scandal and breakup with Indian women’s cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana. This time, Marathi actor and director Vindyan Mane has leveled serious accusations against the music composer, alleging financial fraud and dishonesty in his past relationship with Smriti.
Vindyan Mane claims that Palash took a total of ₹40 lakhs from him related to Mane’s upcoming project Nazaria. Mane said he initially paid ₹12 lakhs to come on board as a producer and later handed over an additional ₹25 lakhs after Palash promised him a role in the film. According to Mane, despite this investment, the project stalled and he never received a refund. Beyond financial grievances, Mane also accused Palash of being unfaithful during his relationship with Smriti Mandhana.
In response to these new allegations, Palash made his first public appearance since the controversy, visiting the Andheri court with his legal team. Dressed simply, he reportedly went to file a defamation suit against Vindyan Mane, labeling the claims as false and damaging to his reputation. Palash had earlier addressed the situation briefly in an Instagram post.
These accusations have thrust Palash back into the public eye, following the December 2025 announcement when Smriti confirmed calling off their wedding. When questioned by paparazzi about the cancelled wedding, Palash remained silent, avoiding all questions and heading straight to his car.
